Summer Horse Camps
Horse Camp is one of our most popular programs at The Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center and is offered to children ages 8-16. This camp is ideal for new riders.
Your child will learn:
· Horse safety
· Equine behavior
· Identification of colors / breeds / body parts
· Grooming
· Tacking up
· Ground handling
· Basic riding skills.
Enrollment is limited in order to ensure a quality experience. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.
If for some reason a camper needs to cancel we can reschedule for a later date, offer gift certificates for future rides, or offer a full refund.
All campers are required to bring a case of water on the first day of camp. We have a refrigerator for them.
Bring a lunch each day it will not be refrigerated so pack accordingly. Pack extra food as we snack during camp.
Campers should wear sun block and drink water before arriving and throughout the day. It will be hot!
