Steering through History
This self-guided tour begins at our one of a kind gift shop, the Little Shop at the Museum. Located in the old Post Office, you can simply stop in and purchase a map, cd or flash drive and leisurely make your way through the property in your vehicle while discovering old Florida treasures through out the tour. This self-guided tour is open to the public Fri-Sun from 11am to 4 pm. Tickets are $9.
Hewitt Sawmill
This will be a guided tour of the old Hewitt Sawmill. This tour will be conducted by reservation only. More details will be coming soon.
Historic Buildings
This will be a guided tour through some of our old historic buildings on the property. You will hear about the rich history of each structure. This tour is recommended for ages 12 and up. Visit the Little Shop at the Museum to learn more.
Florida Heritage Cracker Animals
This guided tour will take you through many of the Florida Cracker Animals. More information coming soon!
All Florida Agricultural Museum Animals
This guided tour will get you up close to all of the animals that live on the property. This tour is appropriate for younger children.
Orienteering Course
Orienteering is a ‘thinking’ sport for all ages. In this self-guided tour, the object is to run or walk to a series of points shown on a special map, with routes designed to move participants to a finish line in the shortest possible amount of time. Bring your compass. Available Thursday – Sunday 10am-4pm. Stop at the “Little Shop at the Museum/Post Office” to purchase tickets for $5 per person. Group reservations are available for Boy Scout troops, Girl Scouts, Church Youth Groups, etc. Contact the Museum at 386-446-7630 to make a reservation.
